DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL HOLLARD!
Hollard Insurance / Liquid Capital = DISGUSTING ! I use hello Peter very carefully - maybe once before after similar shocking service and treatment... Am reticent to mention names of claims assessors : but I am so furious and offended by their ********** service & treatment.
I had a rather heavy accident on the afternoon of 27th November - ''not my fault'' - guy swerved into our lane / hit brakes suddenly (he then fled the scene) and we had to defensive drive to avoid collision and subsequently involved 3 other vehicles.
It took 1hr 45min for Hollard to send a tow. - this was after 9 phone calls on hold for the total of 1hr 45min ( 4 calls of which I was hung up on) and the rest to chase them to find out whether we could leave scene to go to hospital and who was authorised to tow vehicle!!
The next morning 28th November 9am I am at police station to report accident and then I call Hollard to submit the claim. I do so with all relevant details and am given a phone number for their assessors ***) THIS NUMBER HAS NEVER NOT ONCE BEEN ANSWERED _ AFTER NO LESS THAN 60-80 attempts in following week of 2nd-7th dec. The countless follow up calls to Hollard during this week ( their claims dept couldn't even get through to the number they provided for assessors)
During this week 2-6th dec - I have dealt with - I put phone down on 3 others as their tone and manner was so aggressive and disgusting I couldn't even handle the call. Ofentse (claim is being handled by her - well her colleagues named her - but have had no feedback from her) Zandile ( she was only professional !) Maguate ( aggressive and rude) Robin ( an assessor )
So here I sit at 12th day of this process - with not a single answer or progress report from any relevant parties who I pay monthly for a service for 5 yrs! I have an 8month pregnant wife and no vehicle or idea of whats happening with vehicle claim.!
I call this morning 9th to be told they finally received assessors report and the vehicle is a write off. - I then ask - what next? I was told it would be another 7-10 WORKING DAYS to assess the assessors report and see if they will accept the claim!
I choke back my shock and ask - I BEG YOUR PARDON!?? - it will more than 25 days to find out whether a claim is accepted? or even to get an answer ?
- THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE.
I have submitted the settlement quotation from MFC and also all relevant information they need -
Is there any help for this situation ? - am I going to be stuck with wife going into labour and no vehicle over xmas because of this hideous service?
As mentioned I respect hello Peter platform and would only post here once reaching absolute tethers end!. Im beyond that!
