Cancelled items, still overcharged and no feedback

<p>I called in last week and spoke to a consultant about being overcharged after cancelling my items. She promised me feedback the same day and I did not receive any. To date I have not received any feedback ,that is my first issue.</p> <p> </p> <p>I changed my address on the 29th of July to my new home, subsequently my premium had increased. My debit order had already gone off for the next month, so I assumed a pro rata amount (which was not mentioned or explained in any of the calls). During the month I found cheaper cover else where and decided to cancel most of the items on the policy (except for the Polo Vivo),effective as at the 31 August 2016.</p> <p>I had calculated the pro-rata amount as the difference between the old premium and the new premium, give or take a few rands. So I expected a debit for the premium of the polo and the pro-rata amount at the end of August. My debit was around R1000 more than I had expected. </p> <p> </p> <p>I would appreciate proper feedback with regard to this, preferably someone who is knowledgable, bearing in mind that through this entire process the agents who helped me noted the incorrect effective date numerous times and I had to call in to rectify it. </p> <p> </p> <p>What is also concerning is that, when cancelling the items none of the agents tried to retain me as a client.</p>
