Bad service for third party claim

I was had an accident on the 7th of December. Someone bumped me from the back so he’s insurance company is hollard, on the 17th of December I sent and email to Virginiar and she only rep**** on the 06 of January 2024. Please I need advice,is this how the insurance companies work ?
