Want spam calls? Use Hippo.co.za
No where on the free quote did it say that you would give out my information to insurance providers, I am now being bombarded with calls and harassed during work hours.
Please remove my details from your database and retract any information sent to said providers, immediately.

I started receiving calls from Insurance companies directly (5mins) after viewing the quotes on Hippo.co.za and lucky for me, I use TrueCaller and can see EXACTLY which companies the calls are coming from, surprise surprise, the exact companies that you had offers from.
Now, would you still like to tell me that you dont share my private, personal information with your providers?

When you accept a quote and click the "I'm interested" option, you are requesting us to put you in touch with your selected provider. That is the only time we pass your information on. Our website is encrypted and secure.
Hippo.co.za has been incorrectly flagged as Dial direct, Budget etc. on True caller in the past. It would be us that are trying to contact you if you did not accept a quote, to try and assist you further.

A few numbers have been flagged as other brands. Could you let us know which number has been calling you? If you do not select a quote and drop of the process, one of our agents try to call to see how we can assist. That could be why you seem to see other brands calling you, when it is actually Hippo.co.za.

If you are unable to provide this information, you are hiding something, probably the fact that you sold my information and that I was in-fact not called by you, but rather your the providers you sold my information to.
