Spam emails and calls

Today I received this random email below from Hippo.co.za. I never sent them a request for quotes nor did I express any interest in 1st for Women Flexible Excess. The last time I requested comparative quotes from Hippo was at least two years ago. This is the second email I have now received from Hippo in the last month and I have been getting spammed with calls from insurance companies for weeks. Sick of it! To Hippo, please refrain from emailing, calling and harassing me! You've made the right choice by using Hippo.co.za so that you can compare & save on your Car Insurance Please note that the quote provided is an estimate only. We have successfully notified 1st for Women Flexible Excess that you're interested in their quote and you will hear directly from them soon. Please note that the call will be during their call centre working hours, typically between 8am and 7pm, on workdays.

Hi Helen, we have opted you out of receiving emails from us. Our records show that you were last contacted two years ago, we recommend downloading a call blocker to prevent unsolicited calls.

We've just looked into our records, and our last call to you was indeed two years ago. Please be aware of ******** pretending to be us and immediately block any unsolicited calls.

Reviewer Update
It is now almost a year later and every few weeks you are doing the same thing to me! I asked for the quote now three years ago, but still you're sending out emails to insurance companies every few weeks saying I am looking for quotes. I then get a flood of calls while I am trying to do my work, and after hours and over weekends too. This HAS TO STOP! I have already told you almost a year ago that this has been happening and it needs to be sorted out. I will never ever request quotes through you again and will be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid doing the same!
