Hippo Quotes

Hi, I have used Hippo to get competitive quotes. You put in a significant amount of information but they don’t allow you to define the excess you wish to pay. The result is therefore very competitive quotes with very high excess. This attractive rate results in you engaging only to find out with a potential insurer and about 40min later that the quotes are not competitive at all or very similar. What a waste of my time and cost to me. A 40min call on a mobile is not cheap. Hippo please amend your application process to include an excess fee that clients are willing to pay per item being insured. This way clients would get realistic quotes and not be fooled into thinking that hippo can source great quotes.
