HIPPO IS A JOKE.

I had a pleasant phone call with hippo when they were selling me medical aid. This was okay. I have since moved to Mossel Bay and want to have my medical upgraded now. It's November, so its time for discovery upgrades to be processed. I have called them 6 times since yesterday to get help to simply upgrade. I have begged, I have emailed, I have even asked them to cancel my medical aid and cancel my gap cover as of the end of the month via email and 2 working days later they have failed to simply either reply to my mail or give me the offer I asked for, which is quite simply: Medical aid scheme with discovery that covers the private hospitals and doctors IN Mossel bay. I don't want to be rushed over to George if anything should happen. Its not a complicated request. I have no emailed Vanessa, who would have sent it to a manager, I emailed my broker, Moipone, I have asked for a manager to mail me back, anything to get a response that either says: Yes we will cancel it all, or heres the better offer. I work from 7 am to 19:30. I have off between 11:30 and 14:00. They had me wait that entire period of time outside because there is no signal in my building. I left messages, I emailed and nothing. Today Vanessa was extremely concerned and would sort it out immediately with a manager and shes just "waiting" for my mail....so I mailed...and guess what. NOTHING. The service is great when you want a quote. ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER if you want to get anything done after that!
