Contact details shared with the ********** companies

I did a quote on hippo.co.za and my details were given to Standard Bank Insurance to contact me regarding vehicle insurance. I was contacted by Standard Bank Insurance and was happy with the quote and provided my banking details and was told that I would receive my policy by today. This morning I contacted Standard Bank to enquire about my policy and was told that they do not have any policy for me.
