Clouded process with "hidden" charges
Used Hippo to find a good rental car deal. You actually do not transact with Hippo but a foreign company "rentalcars.com" - they very subtly add absorbent charges for insurance cover. You think you get a good deal but the final invoice comes as a shock. They do not transact openly & clearly during the booking process.

It still remains unprofessional for Hippo not to warn the consumer you are now dealing with someone else and not Hippo. Hippo just adds another layer above the actual car rental company without adding any value. Burnt & lesson learnt
