Do not do business with this company
Since my last review, the owner, CJ Greyvenstein, contacted me and promised to remain in contact and start refunding my deposit that was paid to them more than a year ago. The work never took place, promises are still being made and not kept. Mr Greyvenstein also refuses to provide me with his ID number and address so I can draft a repayment agreement. He owes me more than R 20 000. For the last month he has ignored my calls and messages. Do not do business with this company - they are dishonest.

Avoid CJ Greyvenstein and Hitech Pools and construction Brackenfell
Avoid this company and CJ Greyvenstein. In April 2025, CJ requested a 70% deposit amounting to R 20 650 for the relining of my pool. After numerous excuses and promises, nothing materialised. I cancelled the contract after another false promise at the beginning of December and I requested a refund of my deposit. Nothing has been forthcoming and CJ is not responding to any calls or correspondence. He is a dishonest *****.

Do not trust the owner of this company
Service started out good, but contractor ran into cashflow problems and is now refusing to repay the money loaned to him to finish the job. I have heard of at least one other person facing the same problem where he refuses to pay back money.
