Shoes and service

I had a pair of Hi-Tec shoes which gave fantastic service over a number of years. When they needed replacing I bought another pair of Hi-Tecs, but the sole came off after just over 6 months (meaning they were outside of warranty period). Makro - where i bought them - was not interested, so I wrote to Hi-Tec. A real person (not a bot or response sheet), Rudi, got back to me the next day and has arranged to replace the shoes! Excellent service - meaning Hi-Tec remains my footwear of choice going forward.
