Pricey Hi-tec ice skates

I purchased a pair of Hi-tec hiking boots about 3 months ago for the amount of R1800. One would think that be it that it is hiking boots one would not slip and slide all over the place. The fall I had was the last straw and I wrote to their customer service department. Just like no grip on the boots there was no customer service as I still await a reply. Hi-tec I was always in your corner but no more. I am wearing boots that cost a third of the price and they have grip!
