Poor Quality Shoes

I bought a pair of Langdale Hi – Tec shoes about two years ago.

These shoes were never used in any rugged mountain or bush terrain, it were only used, occasionally, in normal office and house hold areas.

A few months ago I noticed that the one shoe’s leather is broken in the front side which comes from normal wear as I did not damaged it in any way.

I am very disappointed in this, as the shoes still looks like new.

This is a very short life span for shoes that is supposed to be rugged and touch for outdoor use and all that can be, is that poor quality material was used for manufacturing.

I have reported this to Hi – Tec customer care and the best they could come up with was a 25% discount at one of their outlets which I think is a poor solution for their problem.

Good morning Jan.
Our shoes carry a 6 month guarantee on any factory fault and your shoes are over 2 years old. I am sure you can respect the fact that anything can happen to a shoe in a period of 2 years. The Langdale in particular, is sold as a casual leisure shoe and not a rugged hiking shoe. I hope you will take us up on the offer of a discount at one of our Hi-Tec outlets. If you are unsure of where they are, please e-mail me at *** and I will guide you.

Chris
