Hi tec ravus quest lux boots has NO GRIP

Hi..I recently purchased 2 pairs of hi tec ravus quest lux boots ,on the 23rd November 2019 from the Montague gardens store *** for my son and I. We started training now during December weekends and I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied with the complete lack of grip and the slipperiness of these boots. On one training session , the ground was slightly wet , and my son slipped about 6 times over rocks and I slipped about 4 times.

This is completely unacceptable , and we would likely be in complete danger on the Otter trail with these boots ?? Is there any solution to this problem? Are the boots defective? And what is Hi Tec going to do to offer us some assistance? Is there a chance of an exchange to a better quality boot with REAL GRIP ? Please advise ASAP ? I have called the landline, but no answer.
