Herotel & Vumatel terrible

The service in Napier, Overberg has been off since 6h30 on 1 April. Their website does not allow clients to login to complain. The whatsapp system responded after one and a half hours and told me the server was down and would be up in a moment. Then said try to connect, and could not. Had to start the whatsapp holding again from scratch. The week before we received an email saying there may be intermittent service but it would all be sorted out by midnight 31 March. Yesterday 1 April it said the website was down until 17h00. Still no communication about the actual problem. Vumatel got the go ahead from the competition comm to take over Herotel on 25 March. If this is the service from Vumatel then it is shocking. People in rural areas do not have the luxury of acquiring different providers, they are all intermittent. Vodacom is useless here, Jebo is intemittent, Telkom and MTN dont have full coverage. Herotel was actually the best - in my experience - but no longer.
