Beware of Herotel Eastern Cape

I used Herotel to provide wifi data to my house in Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape for a number of years. At first, their service was satisfactory. Recently, their service got worse.

Even cancelling my service (which is not on contract but a month to month basis) was an ordeal. They ignored my requests for cancellation and kept on sending me demands for payment with the threat that if I didn't pay it would go on my credit record and stay there for 30 Years!

I would advise anyone considering using Herotel to think very carefully about this. There are other options
