Bad Service, Stay Away!

I would like to reface this by saying that I was a loyal customer of Bronberg Connect for about 2 years before Herotel took over and swallowed it into their larger company.

Over the past year and a half the quality of services rendered has gotten significantly worse. Slow speeds and horrific ping, even to local sites or servers hosted in SA.

Whenever a call gets logged to their technical department, we get told that there's "an issue with the tower in our area which is being investigated by NOC", which takes forever to get resolved and we hardly ever get a callback to see if services have been restored.

The only reason I put 1 star is because there's no option to list 0 stars!

When my internet was still managed by Bronberg connect I had access to log into my Mikrotik router and could quickly check to see if ever there were issues. I could easily manage my home network and see if there was something wrong on my end or theirs.

Since Herotel took over, access to the router is blocked to viewing only and I am unable to make any changes to settings or run troubleshooting. I've been locked out of my own router! Which is sitting in my living room!

Based on their average Hellopeter score and the countless other negative reviews listed, it is painfully obvious that this post won't even be looked at, never mind addressed or investigated.

So to anyone looking for a new ISP, STAY AWAY!
