As the only Fiber service provider in our small town of Paulpietersburg, Kwa- Zulu-Natal, most users of Herotel I have asked are satisfied and happy with their service. I, however, as one of the many residence in the Retirement Village, am disgusted at the ************** Herotel is making against the elderly in this town! After almost a year of negotiations between the Trust of the Retirement Village, Local Communications Expert and Herotel, we were simply told that Herotel refused to enter the Retirement by any means, be it by extending the fiber cables or using existing means offered by our team, unless 80% of all the residence would make use of their Services. How can they expect such a large amount of people to join, if most residence in the Retirement Village are retired, do not earn a salary anymore and are dependent on their pension to survive. The school that is literally in walking distance from my home, get to use Herotel, yet my request is refused. What a bunch of heartless people. Mr CEO, Van Zyl Botha, your older years are ahead of you, be careful how you treat the elderly, your time is coming!!!
