Service fees? And tip. Realy?

What a dissapointment we had at Hennies restaurant in Middelburg. We recieved our bill and guess what? A 10% "service fee" was added. When I enquire this I was told it is payable and not negotiable? HELLO! What is this? No I must pay it. Ok so I pay. Then the waiter was like... no tip. People be AWARE. It is against the law for restaurants to add money to your bill without informing you. You dont pay a tip on top of service fees. The restaurant must inform the customer of the service fee. I also want to make SARS aware of this. The waiters can earn up to R10 000.00 plus per week with this and not pay tax. These restaurants must register these waiters at SARS. Please forward this to SARS. There was also no Afrikaans speaking waiter in sight. So people: LOOK AT YOUR BiLL. It is your right to query this service fees.
