Hennie's - Bietjie Sleg

Our family are regular patrons at various Hennie's restaurants. We especially like to dine at Hennie's on Wednesdays to enjoy the Pizza specials.

On every other occasion, we are charged normal price for menu items on special that day and always have to rectify this.

Our preferred branch, Hennie's Moreleta Park, started hosting Quiz Nights on Wednesday nights.

We had been fortunate enough to place second on the Quiz night on 06/12/2023.

Upon receiving our prize, we had already settled our bill. We asked our waitron whether we could redeem the voucher the next week (13/12/2023) and we were assured this is perfectly fine.

When we attempted to hand in the voucher with our bill on 13/12/2023, we were notified that unfortunately Hennie's cannot honor the voucher as it should have been handed in on the day of receiving it. With no further recourse or attempt made by staff or management to accommodate us.

- There is no indication on the voucher of the extent of its validity. - There is/was no verbal communication of expiry or terms of use.

This reflects very poorly on a franchise that considers itself a customer oriented establishment.
