Unable to update email address on Hello Peter

I am unable to change the email address on my profile. There is no explanation provided as to why email address cannot be changed. My email address that is reflected on my profile is no longer in use, so I am unable to view any correspondence via email. Please can the HelloPeter team assist and correct this very simple task.
