The decline of hellopeter
What’s the purpose of us taking the time and effort to write reviews if they aren’t actually shared with the companies we're reviewing? Do these reviews have any real significance at all? It seems pointless for us to put in the work to write thoughtful feedback if the platform, HelloPeter, isn’t actively promoting this information to the public or to the companies that could benefit from understanding their strengths and weaknesses, especially in terms of their customer service.
When HelloPeter first began, companies genuinely took the reviews shared on this platform seriously and often responded to them, showing a willingness to engage with their customers and improve their services. However, it feels like there has been a significant shift in recent times. Many companies seem to dismiss the reviews posted today, treating them as insignificant or irrelevant. This raises a critical question: what exactly has happened to HelloPeter to cause this change?
Is it even worth our while to continue writing reviews here when it appears that no tangible actions are taken following our submissions? Consumers want to feel that their voices matter and that their insights can lead to improvements; otherwise, frustration sets in.
As a community, we deserve to have a clear response regarding this decline in engagement from both the platform and the companies. What strategies do you propose to enhance the situation? How can HelloPeter ensure that reviews hold weight and foster genuine dialogue between customers and businesses? It is essential that we find a way to reinvigorate the importance of customer reviews, making sure they are not only recorded but also acted upon, bringing about real change in service and accountability.
Thanks for reaching out and for sharing your thoughts with us.
Hellopeter serves as a mediator between suppliers and customers, in the context of service-related experiences. However, it's important to note that we don't have the authority to compel businesses to respond or engage with what customers post on our platform.
We provide an online review platform; it's up to the businesses to take ownership of their reviews. If a business you review is registered on our platform, we send them a copy of your review as soon as you publish it. You can find various social media sharing options below your review if they aren't registered. We'd suggest using this facility to share your review with them directly.
While we can't guarantee the business will respond to your review, writing one increases the visibility of your problem and may prevent other consumers from going through this same experience.
Thank you for your feedback. We hope this helps.
Have a great day. Regards, the Hellopeter Team
