Not a reputable review source. Removing valid reviews.
Not a credible review source at all. I posted a truthful review about a ***** **** website zarmerchant.com and it was removed by hellopeter. I was told I was not allowed to use the word **** or ******** in my review. If this is the case how are we supposed to let people know about ***** ecommerce websites in South Africa such as zarmerchant.com. Absolutely disgusting that you are protecting websites which are blatantly ******** people in South Africa.

You are more than welcome to resubmit your review, giving the details of your experience with the Business without using defamatory words like ******** etc. Kind regards, the Hellopeter team

We don't simply just remove reviews, however reviews that are reported to us will be investigated and if found to breach our content guidelines, will be removed.

19 Sept 2019, 12:25Hello Peter. I have seen a total of 5 negative reviews removed for Zarmerchant.com. Every single one of those reviews were valid and stated they had been ****med after placing an order. As per the commentor below you removed a negative review where all they stated was they never received the order and left an order number. Care to explain why that review was removed? It appears as if you are intentionally allowing a **** website to operate on Hello Peter. Why have you left their **** positive reviews on? We know this is a **** website , you have had multiple people report it, yet, you're allowing this to continute and penalise us for using the word '****' - What do you want us to call them? You even responded to another user who gave you a 1 star review that it was probably to algorithm that removed it and you would look into it. Guess what you haven't restored their truthful review either. As I mentioned to customer support we are building a case against this company and if you continue to act shady and *******ly we will be more than happy to include you in that case as it appears all you're interested in doing is protecting this ***** website.

Reviews are reported to us for many different reasons. If a review is reported as inappropriate ie. false. We investigate the review further. If we do not receive confirmation from the customer that their review is indeed true, the reviews is removed. If we receive confirmation that it's true and correct, the review remains. Details of this process are also available on the site.

We unfortunately can't disclose to you the exact reason why a review that you haven't written has been removed. However we are more than happy to discuss this with the actual customer that wrote the review.

I did not use any defamatory or libelous content in my post yet you removed it again? To the general public since my 1st post I have seen Hello Peter remove more than 10 negative reviews for zarmerchant.com. Reviews are only removed once reported, this means it's the company reporting them and Hello Peter is removing them as they are reported. This is disgusting! We are now taking this with all our documented information to the media.

You guys on a daily basis remove negative reviews for this **** company and try and tell us they're libelous? I am writing this here so it remains as evidence when the media start getting involved in this. There is absolutely no basis for you guys to remove every single negative review for this site. I was de*****ed! I used the word ***** in my review and you're trying to tell me this is defamtory or libelous? Like i said in an email, I hope this blows up in your faces when the media and legal start getting involved. I genuinely hope the people who have been ****med because you removed valid reviews start a class action suit against you. I certainly will start that process.
