Hellopeter is at the risk of rewarding mediocrity in their desperate quest to jerk up service excellence !
I do not agree with the approach that Hellopeter is taking with regard to reviews for quality service. I will go through the motions and write a good story about a company and/or a person simply because they were carrying out their duties. It is only when companies, service providers and/or employees go above and beyond the call of duty that I will sing praises for them. I will not offend and/or patronize someone that is going about their work, just as they are required to do and needlessly shower them with praises. I am not going to lower the threshold and reward mediocrity.
We are in a service crisis in this country and unless we look ourself in the mirror, we will be so desperate as to reward and flatter in our quest to jerk up service delivery. By the very same token, I am not going to write a bad review for an employee that failed to smile at me, I will not. It is only those that go to work only to show up and gets irritated by any customer that seeks service as though that business is a their personal fiefdom. When a receive quality service, whether face to face or on a telephone, I do provide feedback but I must admit that that we would be the kind of service experience that I would go out of my way to share it with the world.
I condemn bad service when I come across one and I would not have to scratch my skull to think about extraordinary service that I received last year sometime so that I can share it with Hellopeter. I become honest and share what I have just experienced and I am not malicious. I can tell you horror movies about Telkom and it is embedded in their service delivery. Again I say, if you do not have a lawyer, do not take a contract with Telkom. Telkom has degenerated to a level in which they are irreparable and have accepted not to do anything about it. They are about sales period !!
