Hellopeter, a **** or a consumer watch dog??
If one reads it's T&C's hellopeter thinks that it can post false and unfounded acquisitions against a company and an individual WITHOUT any risk associated with the libelous posting....When you request that the libelous posting be removed you are told to sign on as a member through which T7C's you must forfeit all your rights AND then you must PAY a FEE....is this not the PERFECT PICTURE OF A ****??????
Even worse when allowing the posting they don't even forward you as the "*******" any information relating to the aspersion casting and libelous statements. But want you to PAY for removal and it takes FOREVER in the meantime one loses credibility
If I understand correctly, it sounds like you're saying that Hellopeter posts reviews against businesses? This isn't correct, all reviews are written by reviewers, independent from Hellopeter. However, should you come across a review that is false, defamatory or breaches our content guidelines in another way, this review can be reported, after which it will be followed up by our operations team, and if found to be in breach of our guidelines, it will be removed. Reporting a review can be done by anyone, reviewer, reader or business, and we do not require you to sign in or register to do so.
Similarly, we don't allow businesses to pay to remove reviews, nor do we force businesses to pay to claim and run their profiles on Hellopeter. We simply require businesses to sign up, and then they can manage their account on our free package. Registration is required though, so that we can ensure that the profile is being managed by the business owner or employee.
