Inability to meet agreed delivery dates and after sales service less than optimum

I purchased a S/S face Braai with Gas Burner and was assured by the sales person and the factory that the delivery date would be two weeks. This was important as I had to organise for transport to Dbn. I made two calls prior to the agreed delivery date enquiring as to the status of the unit and was assured it was in process and there were n issues. I called on the agreed date and was informed that one one part of the unit was completed. This has resulted in me loosing my deposit with the company who agreed t transport the unit to Durban for me. Further to this my calls and requests for the sales person to return my calls are now being ignored.
