EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY, DEFECTIVE ORDER, and Refusal to Take Accountability – Avoid HDS Cut and Edge Krugersdorp aka "The FX Group / Kitchen Tek"

My experience with The FX Group / Kitchen Tek (HDS Krugersdorp) has been nothing short of unacceptable.

After paying in full for a custom board order in July 2025, the process was riddled with delays, miscommunication, and shockingly poor workmanship. The first order was cut incorrectly, chipped, and missing several items. When a replacement was finally delivered, it arrived with the same — if not worse — issues.

Independent professionals confirmed that the majority of the boards were unusable due to incorrect sizes, damaged edges, and poor cutting. Despite this, the company refused to accept responsibility or issue a refund, hiding behind the excuse that the boards were “custom cut.”

As a customer, I was met with unprofessional service, poor communication, and a complete disregard for quality control. What should have been a simple order turned into months of frustration and unnecessary expense. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Their workmanship and customer service fall far below acceptable standards, and I would strongly urge anyone considering them to think twice before doing business with The FX Group / Kitchen Tek.
