Haval H6 1.5T premium falling apart

If I could give zero stars I would. I require urgent intervention in this matter from Haval SA. Please contact me to refer to all previous correspondence to take into account the severity and enormity of my frustration and disappointment in Haval NMI DSM Umhlanga and Haval SA. The dishonest conduct, misleading and ********* business practice is beyond incomprehensible and there is no more empathy in me to accept this sort of treatment any longer. The number of malfunctions, repairs, sheer negligence of your staff is shocking to say at the very least.

I recently picked up some stone chips to my windscreen and had DGC Glass come out today to fit a replacement windscreen. Upon their inspection and subsequent removing of the chipped windscreen it was found that it was improperly fitted previously.

The only other time that my windscreen was removed/reinstalled was by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM. Refer to attached correspondence confirming that the windscreen was removed and refitted was due to repairs that Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM were carrying out. Also note the reason why this repair had to be carried out was because of a previous defective rain sensor which had to be replaced. The replacement work carried out was not done properly which caused my vehicle to leak during heavy rains. This led to the hood lining and the hood mould to separate from the roof which then also needed to be replaced. In order to carry out this work, the windscreen had to be removed and then refitted by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM. 1. The moulding on the left side of the windscreen has been put back in place by being stuck with silicon because all the clips were broken by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM.

2. The rubber seal attached to the moulding was not aligned to the windscreen properly and has bent inwards to wards the mould instead of forming a seal onto the windscreen which has been causing water to get in. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM.

3. The rubber seal on the corner of each side of the top windscreen is bending upwards as opposed to running straight across the windscreen. This is either due to the incorrect rubber seal used or improper fitment. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM.

4. The rubber cover seals that cover the ***** on the bottom corners on each side of the windscreen has been broken. This is due to improper removal/fitment. This is causing water to get in and pool around. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM.

5. The mould/trim the runs across the length of the bottom of the windscreen, has numerous gaps/spaces indicating that it is not sitting flush. This is due to improper removal/fitment. This is causing water to get in and pool around. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM.

6. This same mould/trim is missing clips/*****s in the engine compartment wall and is not lined up. This could be the cause for the above. When my vehicle was returned to me this was not brought to my attention by Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM. I went to Haval NMI DSM Umhlanga today immediately after finding out about this and met with the service manager, Cedric. After stating my concerns he checked your system and first stated he could not find any records of work carried out that involved the windscreen. He further stated that he did pick up replacing the hood lining and hood mould and that they do not need to remove the windscreen for this.

I then showed him the email correspondence from various staff at Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM stating that the windscreen needs to be removed in order for the work to be carried out, for it to be resealed and at one stage they were awaiting a rubber seal for the windscreen. He thereafter managed to find that this work did in fact take place.

He mentioned that some time had passed since the work being carried out until now and therefore not sure if the damages were caused by the staff or whilst the vehicle was in my possession. He did mention the last service carried out at Haval Umhlanga was in 2023 and last work carried out was for a fog light earlier this year. I did mention to him that my vehicle as out of service plan and that I was taking my vehicle to DNA Bosch which is a reputable organisation and not a back door repairer. Furthermore, services do not involve the windscreens. What was he trying to insinuate? You will gather from records that I have and that Haval has, that all the work carried out to any repairs, defects are attended to immediately in order to keep my vehicle in pristine condition.

I was then asked by the service manager if I was happy with the vehicle when it was returned to me after the repair to the hood lining/hood mould to which I rep**** I was not aware of all the unseen damages and that no one from Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM brought this to my attention. Clearly this was a cover up on their part and misrepresentation to me leading me to sign their job card. I have no industry knowledge that would have allowed me to notice these cover ups at that time. Was I suppose to come with an independent expert every time I brought my vehicle in to ensure is was completed correctly. Is it not expected that the work is done correctly because you have qualified technicians to carry out such work. Am I expected to now vet your work? What checklist is in place and who is responsible to ensure that the client receives the highest quality standard of work.

I was lastly told by the service manager to bring in my vehicle for it to be looked at and a quote will be given to me for the repairs -at my cost- which is absurd. How can I cover the costs for your chop shop blunder? I bought a brand new vehicle from your Umhlanga branch but I have had endless problems with my vehicle and I feel like this vehicle has been rebuilt. This vehicle is still being paid off by me yet it feels like I have invested in a second hand car. Haval Umhlanga NMI DSM and Haval SA have been misleading me over these years with such ********* business practices and I require immediate intervention in this matter failing which I will approach the motor ombud for intervention.

Please feel free to contact me should you need any clarity or wish to discuss this matter. I look forward to your response.
