Poor service Haviannas Gateway

I have been shopping at Haviannas Gateway for a very long time but yesterday I was completed disheartened by the services given to me. My aunt bought my son a pair of sandles which was not used and still in the condition it was purchased, she is gone out of the country for the festive season and I needed one size up, the sandle as a bar code Kimble and everything that is expected however I am unable to get the receipt due to the fact she is out of the country. The consultants at the gateway store was rude and not helpful thru told me there's nothing they can do. They then offered me to speak to the manager over the phone who said to them check the history of the sale since I tried to give them a date it was purchased so they could look it up they then took 2 mins and said no sale was done And they can't do anything. I am highly pregnant and they didn't even bother to assist me. I have been working in retail for 15 years I know the pros n cons but the way u speak and treat someone is a very big concern in business. The cost of the sandle was R350 I could of bought another pair if the consultants was kind understanding. I guess morals n values are not installed in businesses like they used to be back then. Being kind or helpful makes a big difference in one's life, nothing everything is about money. I will not be shopping at such a store or ask my relatives or friends to shop there ever again after yesterday.
