Poor quality havainas

So in December i bought my daughter a pair of havainas at the v&a waterfront in February the shoe broke(only 2 months) i tried to fix it now its broken in two more different parts besides where i fixed .i returned the shoe to the store and they said they cant take it back as i tried to fix it first even though my complaint is not about the part i fixed. they told me its policy which i asked them to point it out on the back of the receipt which was not there so they referred me to head office and someone named Jodi told me there is nothing they can do as i tampered with the shoe. i am so appauled by this and will never buy their brand again will make sure non of my friends and family do. the amount we pay for these shoes is alot for the poor quality we receive.
