No value for money

I bought havaianas slops for R1,800. The shop assistant assured me that there was a 12 month guarantee as I had a problem with a previous rose gold pair where the metal links broke off, only to find out now that there is only a six month guarantee. This was definitely my last pair of havaianas!!!!!! No value for money
