Misleading 6 month warranty

Purchased a pair of shoes at the Rosebank store. Original purchase was on sale. When they broke within the 6 month warranty period the staff insisted I pay the difference between the sales price and normal price to replace them. Why would I want to pay more to replace the same pair of shoes? When I asked for a refund this was denied. When I asked to escalate to a manager this was denied as supposed none are available on a weekend. Staff were rude, unsympathetic and a poor reflection of the brand. Won’t ever purchase your products again!
