Havaianas bad experience Cape Town waterfront

My wife bought a pair of flip flops. The second time that she wore them, a piece of the sole broke off. When we took the flip flops back, we were told that there is no guarantee on the soles but only on the straps. This was not told to us when they were bought. I find this unacceptable. We will not be buying their product again.
