POOR SERVICE AND AFTERSALES

Do Not Buy a POLO 2023 TSI if yo plan to claim and make them aware of terrible metal to metal front suspension noises. THEY CALL THIS IS NORMAL: VIEW VIDEO: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5BnA9enxW9BZoPJFA The sales process will be personalized and great but AFTERSALES AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NON-EXISTANCE AT WORSE AND COLD AND DISMISSIVE AT BEST. The most horrible experience I even had and I regret ever having dealings with these ******, pretentious, *********** and underhanded dealerships and its staff. If there was a minus 5 stars rating, I would have given it to them. The salesman was very good at persuading me to buy the car he called and pestered me day and night with sales pitches and photos and financial advice as to why his deal is financially sounder than the new car I had at that point (I have all the hundreds of voice notes and text messages to proof this. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that has the most unbearable screeching metal sound coming from the suspension which they call normal and keep insisting it is brake squeal and yet it does not happen when I apply the brakes. On top of that there IS bad wind noise like a window is open and rattles from the dash which the technician chose to ignore. This a brand new 2023 Polo TSI I had for almost 3 months and for two months now they could not resolve the horrible noise and decided it was normal after they made it worse. Situation: On the day I went to pick up my number plates I mentioned a knock noise when changing gears and the onset of the screeching noise from the front suspension (this is the focus point of my complaint and nigh mare I have to endure every time I get behind the wheel of my brand-new POLO TSI 2023 model. The salesman Wouter who loaded also double the amount on the deal as what I told me (that matter will also be submitted to the ombudsman for close review as I believe it was ********* and dishonest and may also be *******) got a technician quickly check it out, but the guy said it was normal and as for the metallic screeching noise he adjusted the shock booth and said the noise will not reoccur. The noise got worse and I sent them videos whereby the salesman admitted that it is horrible and never heard that before but came back saying that the workshop foremen and even Dealer Principal says that it is normal. THIS IS NOISE THAT CAN BE HEARD 50 to 100m away and sound like and old truck and they called it NORMAL!!! I escalated and VW customer service got a loan car arranged and they started to diagnosis this horrible noise at the dealer. They quickly came back and all of a sudden this is known noise and can't be resolved; however, VW SA and their International counterparts are working on a fix for it. I was not happy to take the vehicle back that way and because I had their loan car their now actually tried an inhouse fix which made the noise almost complete go away for a while. A few days later I informed that the noise is back but intermittently and very mild but could get worse and they told me the VW SA has since provided them with repair measure that they have been working on for months to resolve this noise. After they worked on the car again the noise became so much worse so much so that it sounds like the car is falling apart when slowing down and coming to stand still. I reported this to them and long story short between them and VW South Africa they have now officially abandoned me and after their failed attempts reverted back to telling the noise is normal and I should just live with it. The strange thing is they acknowledged there is a defect, researched a repair measure, and sympathized with me while it was still in the process and after they failed to fix my car and actually made it much much worse, they recon it is "normal" and down played it as "maybe a bit annoying" Again this a brand new vehicle and I have to drive it EVERY DAY AND BE ANNOYED AND EMBARASSED BY THE NOISE AND PEOPLE TURNING THEIR HEADS IN UNBELIEVE AND CONFUSSION AS I APPROACH WITH THIS NEW AND GOOD LOOKING VW POLO THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN OLD TO 20 YEAR OLD TRUCK.

OH, THE REMARK ABOUT THEM BEING ****** AND WELL FOUNDED BECAUSE ON THE OCCASSION I WAS THERE THE DP AND OTHER MANAGERS WOULD PASS ME BY WITHOUT GREETING, BUT PUTS UP THE MOST PLEASANT CONVERSATIONS AND GREETING WITH THE WHITE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THE WHITE LADIES. have to drive it EVERY DAY AND BE ANNOYED AND EMBARASSED BY THE NOISE AND PEOPLE TURNING THEIR HEADS IN UNBELIEVE AND CONFUSSION AS I APPROACH
