Issue with Maintenance Plan claim

I've had a number of VW/Audi vehicles over the years.. I'm sure I've spent over 1.6 Million rands in past 5 years alone... I've had a 2010 Polo.. a 2015 Polo TSI... I've currently got a Golf 7 GTI which I bought back in 2016 and an Audi S3 I bought a few months back..

I took my GTI in at Hatfield VW Rivonia this morning they changed the brake pads on my GTI and did some other minor work on it... I also have an issue which I mentioned to them about the front light washer that had the cover fall off and it's not coming out anymore... noticed it last week... not sure when it fell off cause my wife uses the GTI alot now... I drive my S3 mostly...

So the service advisor calls me and tells me "The part is covered by my maintenance plan but they can't claim on it cause it's an incomplete part cause I don't have the cover" where the hell would I get the cover I don't know where or when that thing fell off and my wife doesn't either just noticed it last week... So what's the point of a maintenance plan if when VW is supposed to maintain I get given hassles... and even worse my car was still covered under my maintenance plan it hadn't expired or come out... I extended my maintenance plan to 140Kms this morning before they started working on it..

Today alone I spent over 26K extending my maintenance plan on my GTI cause I still plan to keep it till the Golf 8 GTI hits SA...

So now you're telling me that I must pay over 2K to get this light washer thing fixed out of pocket?????! I find that totally unacceptable and ridiculous!

I did call VW SA in the morning and spoke to a very helpful lady by the name of Junene that escalated the issue for me.. but she said it will take up to 48 hours.

Hopefully this can get resolved and you guys can sort out my car soon... if not please can it clearly be communicate to me that VW/Audi no longer values me as a customer and no longer wants any of my money and I can sell these VW/Audi cars I have and switch to a different German manufacturer that will value me and not take my loyalty for granted! I mean I just spent 26K to extend my maintenance plan this morning... and now I need to spend 2K+ for something that should be covered under my maintenance plan?? Like really I feel you guys are giving me the biggest middle finger ever here!?

Reviewer Update
Hi just and update on the above mentioned issue thank you Volkswagen and Hatfield VW Rivonia for getting this issue sorted my baby is 150% again. I'm just adding a follow up comment on this initial thread for anyone who may have read or is reading this because I feel it's important to not only speak out on the negative but also when the positive happens to update the initial complaint with the outcome. So that if anyone reads this in future they know I was assisted and I'm still a 150% loyal and happy Volkswagen and Audi South Africa customer. Thank you once again :) your assistance and timely resolution to the issue I had has been invaluable
