Raised a query with my lease agreement when I just moved in they said I’d get free WiFi (that didn’t happen and I was told it was a mistake) I was basically forced to sign a new lease which I refused . Secondly if gave two months notice to terminate my lease TWO MONTHS , they have a new tenant in my place which mean landlord suffers no rental income loss then they want you to pay a early admin termination penalty of 1 months rent ?? So they getting rent from the new tenant and then a months rent from me ??? Double dipping much . I moved out on 28 January 2022, no further communication was given only “we discussing with management” I have explained in terms of the LAW you cannot charge a termination penalty of a months rent the law says reasonable penalty not one months rent ?? I moved out because of all the false advertising where I was renting in kuilsriver and their response was that they are attending to the things which is a not available however I would have no use of these things even after my lease ended or maybe only one months joy of these things. I lived there for almost 10 months and has to incur extra costs because of the false advertising . I want my deposit back which should have been paid back to me already and a response on the admin penalty which clearly doesn’t fall within the CPA. I was told I signed a contract and agreed to the terms however as we all should know , no contact is above the law !
