Worst experience ever !

My experience with Harcourts has been really shocking . This is the second time I’m renting with them but nonetheless here is my story. I am renting a house through them , and after moving in for 2weeks without a working shower , having to wake up early everyday to go shower at a friends place when I go to work for 2 weeks. Okay this is something that could be sorted out and I guess I was willing to to be patient enough till that was sorted . 2. The premises where I stay have an old gate , which is a struggle to open and close , and as a female who is staying only with kids it concerned me greatly I decided to write an email to Harcourts about the gate but yeah nothing was done. So I decided to also let that go and just decided I will have to come home early everyday before it gets dark so I don’t struggle putting in the car in the yard at night . So I decided to let the gate issue slide as well.

3. The last straw was when I put my garbage on the sidewalk every Friday when municipality comes to collect refuse. Owner of the house said I must take the refuse bags to the corner of the street which I disagreed as it did not make sense to me , according to our Bylaws refuse is place on the sidewalk every morning of the collection day . When I refused to place them at the corner of the street she told me she is getting me evicted and that she will speak to the agent(harcourts) . I immediately at that very moment started making phone calls looking for a place to stay as I cannot be left stranded with kids and no place to stay . I found a place before I could get the eviction notice , now I email Harcourts to say I will be moving out , they say I will not get my deposit and will be liable to pay 3 months rent as I did not finish my lease with them.

My question is , how did I breach the contract when I was threatened with an eviction? Who can live under such circumstances of getting threatened everytime we don’t see things the same way ? Now I can’t get my deposit and must pay 3 months rent when it was never my decision to leave here first place ? No one deserves to live like this !!!!
