*****ing from old people

Good day

This is the second time I am approaching you about Harcourts Potchefstroom. My mother rented a unit from them in a retirement village. She fell ill and was forced to move out. The owner declared that she will not keep her to her contract. She was going to stay until 16 June 2017, therefore we would pay for June. She moved out on 27 May 2017, so was no longer staying there, thus we did not pay for June as discussed. The payment for June was only if she stayed on until 16 June 2017. Now they are keeping her deposit back for June's rent. They are the most unprofessional, rudest estate agents together in one building. I cannot believe they are doing this to my mother. I need something done about this, please.

I will bring your complaint to the attention of the Business owner. Allow me to explain however that agents are acting on behalf of the landlord. The unit will obviously now be standing empty for the month of June as your undertaking was to stay there, hence no new tenant was sourced for June? - How do you understand this? In most cases the Landlord still has a bond to pay and he/she will now have to carry that cost and service the bond.
