Rental agency cheating the system

BEWARE WHEN RENTING FROM HARCOURTS CORNERSTONE. i am absolutely appalled by them this office falsely advertised a property as pet friendly. upon moving in the body corporate then informed us of this. The office subsequently promised to assist us in finding a new place when the lease expired and keep us updated with new rentals. This NEVER happened. The townhouse we moved into was absolutely filthy, this was noted by the former agent, who agreed in writing not to bill us for the cleaning costs when we moved out.The cupboards were mouldy and upon reporting it, it was only sorted out 2 months after it was reported, by then my son was born and had to live in what was an obvious health hazard. Now almost a year later when we have cancelled the lease and moved out, this office is insisting on charging us for cleaning. as well as performing an unprocedural inspection thereby forfeiting their claims against our deposit(for cleaning, which we had an agreement on and is partly residual dirt from the previous owner) Terribly disappointed in the service by this office.
