Making use of Electricians that gives CoC certificates while there is faults on the property
Hopefully after this review a proper resolution will be obtained as my previous review only held power for results until it was removed and the treatment resorted back to the way it was which sparked the first review.
I eventually took occupation on the 01/06/2023 after my initial arrangement was that i take occupation on the 01/05/2023 which the agent confirmed on numerous times was all in order only to back out and deny everything by the 14/04/2023.
Was told the COC needs to be done which in the OTP states 14 days from the signing of the agreement which meant the COC needed to be done by the latest 06/03/2023, but was only done on the 17/04/2023. I also informed the agent and attorneys that the CoC was not done correctly and they argued stating the electrician does not give them problems. On day of occupation there was lights hanging out of the ceiling by wires joint with masking tape, electrical outlets that sparks when you plug something in even though it is switched off and industrial florescent light that gives off blue flashes and trips the electricity. The electrician was called back to come rectify as it was not up to standard, he took the whole day only to arrive at 3pm the afternoon stating that he could not do the initial checks on the 17/04/2023 as the previous tenants did not clean the flat yet.
He left at about 6pm after he started to pack up at 17:20. he told us everything is fixed, us not checking due to the fact that we were busy the whole day with extra repairs that the owner did not want to take responsibility for even after it was discussed with the agent that everything after my inspection is the sellers responsibility. The next day we picked up that certain things was not fixed up to standard, tried getting the electrician back, but he ignored us in full and ended up to get my own electrician to fix a short with one of the bedroom lights. Tried again 2 or 3 times after that to get the electrician back to come rectify the things and get them up to standard with the last request being made in person to the agent by my parents as they ran into each other at the shopping center close by on the 29/06/2023 and till now no follow up by the agent was made to check if the electrician has indeed come to fix or not, nor has the electrician made any effort to come.
The property got registered today on my name and when i requested the attorneys whom was dealing with the registration to please withhold the payment and request him to come resolve the issues i received a simple response that i should escalate this to the electricians board to get them involved to resolve this matter.
I have had such a bad experience being my first home that i would not at all recommend Harcourts Rhino because its only promises to get the deal done and once a client becomes difficult they only assist when there is a negative review to get you to remove the review and then revert back to not carting at all.
I also do not want a call from the Harcourts Rhino to question me about this review or state that they do not take lightly to threats as this review is not a threat its mere a statement of facts of how there is one sided treatment on certain deals and i can highlight a few out of the OTP where 1 clause related to me was forced in full to a point where the property was kept as leverage to get me to jump immediately, but there is 3 clauses in the OTP that relates to the seller that was not enforced at all
Should there any communication i would only talk to the lady at head office i believe her name is Esme as she listens and understands from both parties point of view. I do re-iterate that i do not want a call from the Harcourts Rhino branch. I want resolutions to my concerns A.S.A.P.
