Incredibly disappointed and disgusted by Harcourts
Here is the bad review I promised in my email to you, Harcourts.
This company needs to be avoided at all costs. If you rent, you are just an employee when the landlord puts the house up for sale 6 months after you've moved in with a year long lease.
Sandy, Kathy, and Karen (yup), I hope you realize tenants can tell when you are blatantly lying about landlords, who live in New Zealand, driving passed my house to make sure the outside pavement is clean (which was not in the inspection document by the way, yet I was still told to pay and have that cleaned for you and did so). Conveniently, only after Karen has done a house viewing, do I receive that message 5 minutes later from Sandy saying "the owner just drove passed and said you must remove ****s from the pavement". Especially if you've given that excuse twice 5 minutes after a viewing done by Karen.
I am disgusted in the lack of urgency when maintenance is required, but they will take every cent they can as soon as possible, or phone for 9am viewing schedules at 8.45pm the evening before.
Karen, the sales agent, was asking me questions and providing my number to companies who require information from the home owner, not the tenant, and Sandy treats her tenants very poorly. She forgets to schedule maintenance requests (it could take up to a week before she gets back to you after you've asked for a response, and then says "oh no, the silly company forgot to get back to you. It's their fault, not mine". Funny how its always the 3rd party companies making mistakes, not Sandy being *********** at her job)
Kathy, you need to actually communicate with tenants about deductions you are making when the statements received say that you have not paid the full amount back.
People aren't stupid. So stop acting as if we know nothing because you hold the power of the roof over ours head when we are paying for it.
