Harcourts Pinetown - ignore tenants phone calls, emails and whatsapp's

Afternoon,

We were the unfortunate tenants of a landlord who decided to sell their property.

We put up with Saturdays of people coming in and out of the house, electricians, banks, estate agents, prospective buyers. All at our personal leisure time. Not once did we complain or get difficult. While the landlords sat back and did nothing for the sale.

We were then sent a letter to vacate due to a sale. (one day after an argument with the landlady) We comp****. Even though it was extremely difficult to find a property with the same rental. We went out of our way to leave on time. We repainted bedrooms, poly filled walls and even fixed rotten doors outside. All the extra cost of movers and deposits we have to find. With absolutely no assistance from the landlord to compensate us with our deposit. We all know that its extremely difficult to get someone out of a property. We made things extremely easy for the estate agent and owner of the property.

I have sent 3 emails now regarding my deposit with absolutely no feedback. Whatsapp's and phone calls get completely ignored. This is absolutely unacceptable that after all the trouble i went to i cannot get an answer as to a timeline for our deposit.

I have had just about enough of being pushed around. This is my money that i have every right to. Its been two weeks since we moved and i am begging and pleading for a response. Is this how a reputable estate agent works? Absolutely disgraceful. The next step will be legal action, i have all the documented emails and info on my deposit and liaison.
