Harcourts are *******

We left our Harcourts rental after 3 yrs and 4 months of caring for the house as our own home. We painted all the walls that had pictures hung on them, had the house professionally cleaned, windows professionally cleaned and the garden professionally tidied. The agency then spent 3 hours doing the check out fabricating issues. They then had their own property maintenance company give a ludicrously inflated quote to fix these fabricated issues and have kept three quarters of our deposit and the full cleaning deposit. After much communication requesting clear evidence of these supposed issues when the comparison to the entry inspection shows these issues are fabricated, we are ignored and our deposit remains in their personal account.

We are going to the Tygerburger newspaper but would like a few other similar experiences to join us. Their own agent said that Harcourts is notorious for keeping tenants deposits for no real reason so if this was you please contact me
