Harcourts Alpha set me up to lose my money

I rented a property through Harcourts Alpha with Gary Booyse as my agent. Gary failed to do a pre-occupation inspection (and furnish me with a copy of the lease), and even though I reported defects that I noticed when I inspected the unit on my own, Gary failed to take the necessary steps to repair any of the damages. When the lease expired, Gary arranged a post-occupation inspection, but weeks later informed me that money for repairs would be deducted from my deposit. I have evidence that these damages existed before I took occupation. Owner Denton Henning has failed to respond to my queries or supply me with an explanation. Failing to do a pre-occupation inspection and then arriving for a post-occupation inspection seems a lot like setting tenants up to lose their money! Needless to say I will not deal with any Harcourts branch in future, and I will certainly be taking this further as I have the evidence to prove the ways in which these two \professionals"have evaded following the steps required of them."""
