Harcourt - Agent Attitude Stinks

<p>I have just had the most unpleasant experiance with an agent.</p> <p> </p> <p>I do not want to go into detail, but to be told I am wasiting her time with an offer.</p> <p>House is on market for R1.49M</p> <p>I offered R1.45M</p> <p> </p> <p>I was told the owner was not interisted in negotiating, upon which I asked for the proprty recent sell price and yeah, was told if I am not going to offer full price I am wasting her time and she then said opening offer is R1.49.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have the full details and e-mail conversation but just a warning, people do not like been treated badly.</p> <p> </p> <p>My offer was subject to bond approval and I do not have another property to sell to qualify for this one.</p> <p>I do have a flat I was going to put in the market once I have bought a house.... I will not use Harcourts and neither will I recommend the agent I dealt with.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a result I will not engage in any business moving forward - I will rather negotiate via another agent or the owner directly.</p> <p> </p> <p>I can also however not speak for other agents that Harcourt uses, but this single experiance with the agent has left me with an opionion and I feel strongly enough to share.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks all for reading.</p>
