FALSE CLAIMS OF DAMAGES AND WITHHOLDING MY DEPOSIT

In April 2022 on my ingoing inspection the agent sent her sister to do the handover. Even when viewing the property, I made mention of the floor and sent a video as proof , then again during the handover. The inspection sheet was pre completed and everything was marked off as "GOOD" despite there being a few issues at the unit which was noted verbally by me to the agent's sister but not noted on the inspection form. A few issues came up at this property, which resulted in my family and I experiencing persistent health issues. The agent responsible for this unit, which I had met for the first time in August insinuated that I and my family was the issue, insulted me, my partner and my intellect of which surrounding Neighbours heard her raising her voice and being extremely rude and offered to lay a complaint and vouch for the way she spoke to me. I had then requested that Harcourts get someone else to assist or that she deal fully with my partner as she was extremely rude. After leaving the premises she then further went on to advise that if I am unhappy I can terminate my lease as she would understand due to our health issues, me being pregnant and the owner not wanting to assist with any of the issues. I received a copy of this unsigned inspection sheet in August for the first time when she advised me to seek a other place to stay. I have since moved , received a sub par reference from this agent where she insinuated that I paid my rent late monthly when my current agent called for a reference. I gave 20 business days notice and at the outgoing inspection , she pointed out a mark on the floor which i advised was already there when i moved in. I contacted her sister that very day , so that she could bring it to her attention however she now claims to not remember having any conversation regarding the floors. I am now being held responsible for an apparent mark on the laminate flooring that is plus minus the size of a R5 coin , that the agent is claiming was not there prior to me moving in however she wasn't even present at the incoming inspection and cant provide any photos or a signed inspection list or proof of any notes made even for the other issues noted. I explicitly remember her sister and I discussing this including some of the other issues at the unit (ie broken door locks, dirty oven, broken draws, however now there is a case of amnesia, there are no pictures of the unit, and the ingoing inspection sheet is not a true reflecting of anything as even though these repairs were done on the initial sheet everything was marked off as GOOD AND WORKING. Harcourts are now wanting to hold me responsible for damages which was preexisting as well as do deductions to my deposit amount of an estimated R21 000.000 against a R29 000 deposit to replace a floor. I have blocked communication with this agent in July already as she is rude and offensive and i have had an overall horrible experience dealing with them and now to put a cherry on top .. THEY ARE TRYING TO ***** ME OUT OF MY DEPOSIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
