DISHONEST AGENT

Agent makes false statements before we signed rental agreement. When we hesitated to sign the contract due to the additional requirements agreed upon being verbal and not in writing, she assured us that she has all proof of communication and agreements on email and our requirements would be met. We signed the contract and now find out that this so called proof of communication does not exist and we actually now have no legal grounds to stand on.

She keeps saying that she will arrange a meeting to resolve the issue but something always comes up and she can never attend the meeting. She avoids all possible face to face communication between both us as tenants and the home owner. You cannot trust a word that comes out this womans mouth.

When reporting to the company owner or her senior manager, the response is simply: I apologize for the "misunderstanding". He will not even acknowledge that its his dishonest agent who he should be apologizing for as there was NO MISUNDERSTANDING.
