Bad service
After a disappointing experience with Harcourts Rhino in Roodepoort, buyers take note:
Should you amend your offer, you sign an addendum which takes precedence over the agreement of sale whereby the buyer shall have no claim over the seller for any defects in the property whether patent, latent or otherwise. Be aware of this. Fixtures also NEED to be listed on the O.T.P.
The Principals response to several complaints and issues was they conduct the role of mediators however all parties however have an obligation to follow their specific role as per the agreements signed to make sure that the transaction goes smoothly. If anyone breaches the terms and conditions, the aggrieved party has legal recourse for damages to the other party who has committed the breach and estate agents have limited powers to enforce the law
Investigate all avenues
I get the idea that you've had adequate communication with the Harcourts Rhino Business owners?
