We’ve been receiving repeated emails from Hammond Pole Attorneys about a Telkom account (***) that was fully settled & closed in February 2022. Proof of settlement has been sent multiple times, yet the notices continue to be sent to us. This is clearly a failure on Telkom’s part to update their records, and Hammond Pole’s continued pursuit is unacceptable. I’ve asked them to resolve this with their client, but they’ve ignored these requests. If this isn’t rectified immediately, we’ll have no other choice but to escalate through: The Legal Practice Council The Consumer Ombud A POPIA complaint for ******** data use We’re also going public on social media to expose this treatment. Enough is enough. Desired Outcome: We would require immediate confirmation (from both Telkom and Hammond Pole Attorneys) that the account & this matter are closed. And that no further contact will be made with us.
