I have contacted them via there WhatsApp portal and received this feedback: Good day please ignore the sms it was incorrectly sent to you. I even have emailed *** apparently, she is some of kind of supervisor. I also have emailed her on the 23 August 2023 stating that this account has been prescribed as per act 68 of 1969 and that she must close the file and forward back to their client. Response: NOTHING!!!

This morning I received the following SMS: HP Attorneys: Month end is closing in, and we require an arrangement on your Nedbank Personal Loans acc. Call: *** or WhatsApp: *** ***.

I emailed Amanda again after receiving this sms stating the following:

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED AS PER ACT 68 OF 1969. CLOSE THIS FILE AND FORWARD BACK TO YOUR CLIENT. I ALSO WANT A LETTER FROM YOU STATING THAT THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SEND BACK TO YOUR CLIENT DUE TO PRESCRIPTION.

The next sms I receive, or I see that you have listed me on all the credit profiles then I will be FORCED to take further steps, as you just ignore my emails that I have forwarded to you.

YOUR URGENT REPLY AWAITS.

So, tell me one thing. If a message is forwarded to you, please ignore sms it was wrongly sent to you, and you communicate with the supervisor, and she do not even have the decency to revert back to you but have the time to forward you another threating sms what am I to do? Even Thou this account has been prescribed as per act 68 of 1969.

Also, as per South African law, no section 129 can be done as the consumer have 29 working days to respond.

Also, the first sms was forward to me by mistake, as per HP Attorneys. So that cancelled one another out.

So, please close the file as per the prescription act and forward me proof there off via my email and stop harassing me.

You have till COB today to forward me a letter stating that the file has been closed due to prescription and forward back to your client OR I WILL take further steps and publish this in all major newspapers.
